Experiment no.11:
Discover the Power of
Shared Meditation and Prayer

Purpose:
To examine whether a joint meditation and prayer between Jews and Muslims for peace, brotherhood, and compassion can awaken the heart of humanity and raise the vibration of the global field.

In this Experiment , we sought to explore whether it’s possible to awaken the heart of humanity and raise the vibration of the global field through a joint meditation and prayer session between Muslims and Jews for peace, brotherhood, and compassion.

This experiment took place in the months following October 7, during a prolonged conflict in the Middle East. What we discovered was remarkable: What we discovered was remarkable: when united by a shared mission of spreading compassion, Palestinian Muslims, and Jewish settlers, could even begin to feel love for one another.

Guided by the HeartMath Institute and measured by approximately 750 random number generators, the experiment yielded almost significant results, as highlighted by  Nachum Plonka, Ph.D. in the video showing the outcomes.

I invite you to watch and witness the power of collective intention for peace.

Ghassan Manasra

Ghassan Manasra is the International Executive Director, of Abrahamic Reunion.

The Abrahamic Reunion, founded in 2004, is a bottom-up grassroots organization designed to overcome the problem of segregation and separation in Israel and Palestine by bringing together small to large groups of people from the four major religions to spend time together, work together, study together, and create an atmosphere of trust and understanding.

The basic premise is that religion has been used to divide people in the Holy Land and it can also be used as a force to bring people together while still respecting divergent points of view and cultures.

"As a peacemaker from the Holy Land, I believe that all people around the world from all religions are equal and must continue as partners and colleagues together to build a world of peace, harmony, and humanity. For the last 20 years, I have taught at conferences and events in the Holy Land, and traveled internationally lecturing on Islam, Peacemaking, Interfaith, and Multifaith."

Rabbi Yakov Nagen

Rabbi Yakov Nagen (Israel/United States of America) is the Director of the Ohr Torah Interfaith Center

Rabbi Nagen received rabbinic ordination from RIETS and a PhD in Jewish Philosophy from the Hebrew University.
For 15 years, he has been a leading figure in interfaith dialogue between Judaism and Islam and in encounters between Judaism and Eastern Religions.

Rabbi Nagen has published eight books and hundreds of articles that address Jewish spirituality, Talmud, interfaith relations, and other topics.

Many of his writings have been translated into Chinese, and he was profiled in Tablet magazine as one of the ten “Israeli Rabbis You Should Know.”
He lives in Otniel and is married to Michal; they have seven children.

Khaled Abu Awwad

Khaled is among the foremost figures in the Palestinian community working toward peace and reconciliation between Palestinians and Israelis. He has been a part of the founding of three groundbreaking organizations, has been awarded various international prizes for his projects including the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Prize for the promotion of nonviolence and tolerance in 2011, and was named one of the 500 most influential Muslims in 2010 by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Center.

Khaled's family has been greatly affected by the conflict, which has shaped his beliefs and actions. His mother and his brother Ali were jailed during the First Intifada for extended periods, and Khaled himself spent a total of 18 months in confinement. In 2000, his brother Youssuf was killed by Israeli soldiers, two years later another brother, Said, died ten days after being wounded, and his son Muayyad was seriously wounded and left handicapped. In 2009 his son Muhanad was arrested and jailed for several years. Muhanad was jailed again at the end of 2015 and was released in July 2017.

With everything that he has faced, Khaled remains dedicated to nonviolence and communication: “To anyone who says that it is only by war or by force or by eradicating the other side that rights can be won or dreams achieved, I say, 'That is not so.' For one side cannot eradicate the other. We cannot kill their dreams and they are unable to kill ours. We must divide this place among us all and live-in peace or all of us will live in hell.”

Our Measuring Tool:
In addition to the Global Consciousness Project 2.0 measurements that will be done by the HeartMath Institute, we recommend using another tool:

The HeartMath Institute’s Global Coherence App
We have a special tool to measure our progress in raising our personal and collective vibrations—the HeartMath Institute's Global Coherence app.
It is available for free download and serves as our main instrument for gauging the level of our collective heart coherence.
Joining the Experiment Group
If you are new to using the Global Coherence App:
After downloading the app, it is helpful to first review the tutorials, especially the one on how to use your phones camera as your coherence sensor. See: https://www.heartmath.org/app/global-coherence/tutorials/

It helpful to practice using the app and increasing your heart coherence before the Global Experiment that take place on July 23rd.
During the global meditation, we will all join the Global Group on the app.

As always, our experiment invites the comfort and convenience of your home as the setting. All our gatherings occur online and are broadcast via Zoom, Facebook, and YouTube, allowing you to participate from your own living room.
